One of my clients recently told me how she hates selling.
What if we think of selling as serving?
Yes, we have the goal to make this person a client, but we want them to be our client so we can help them. The goal though it to is just to chat with them and get to know them and their business. It’s about connecting with them and understanding where they’re at and then the rest will come. When you adopt this mindset, it turns this interaction from selling to serving. You’re figuring out what you can do to help them because it’s never about you.
It’s the ripple effects that comes from serving, which helps more people achieve their goals because it’s coming from a place of, “I’m genuinely here to see what I can do to help you.”
Help them reframe their disempowering beliefs with empowering stories.
Think about it, most of the time we are giving away so much free value because we just want to help people.
