EP #15: Mistakes I've made in business
This week I am talking about the raw mistakes I have made in business and hopefully you can learn from me and not repeat them.
We often make choices that give us instant pleasure, and this can lead to a ripple effect of mistakes. I didn’t think I was a good boss or leader, so I used to always say I need a CEO so they can take care of certain things and I can travel and do what I’m good at – speaking, teaching and delivering. We create our own reality and I got stuck thinking I should keep my business the way it is, and not grow it. I decided to stop growing and just celebrate and relax – when I could’ve been helping even more people. In order to grow we must take risks, and sometimes we will fail, but what’s important is that we learn from the failing to take your business to the next level. I don’t think there is a wrong and right way to run a business, but there are moments throughout my career I have learned from and has helped me grow into a better entrepreneur.
