Ep #54: Are You Having Fun In Business?

But before the fun part, here’s a story when I didn't have fun in my business… and that is when I was thinking of quitting my own business!!!

Aside from that, I was affected by the work environment. I get so stressed - be it for a small or a big thing. It wasn’t anybody’s fault but mine. I was stuck, I procrastinated, I was caught up with all the tasks, I was frustrated with the staff who left my team without leaving their procedures behind, I was taking everything sooo seriously, and most especially, I only got worried about getting clients and money.

Not right, I know. 🙂 It’s also tough since my EGO keeps blocking me out.

And when I realised that I’ve been doing it wrong all the time, I snapped! Not in a bad way but I snapped as I went, “Oh shoot!! This BS is BS!!” 

And then I changed it…

I meditated, I allocated time to have fun like go hiking, swimming, reading books, having a walk with my baby, Ollie boy, in the park, and many more activities whilst still focusing on my business. I make sure that I don’t stress too much since I have a capable team in the office and my lovely VAs.

I also explore new things, which I didn’t do in the past since I was so engrossed in my own BS. I talk more with my team, getting their opinions and stuff, talking to my clients, and helping them as it’s not always about money, right? 

I started my business with the goal of helping and uplifting business owners, coaches, speakers, etc on my mind… And this is my top goal, giving them so much value, helping them with their clarity, funnels, and strategies.
