Business mindet 101
As a successful entrepreneur who values the power of mindset, I want to share my thoughts about the importance of mindset in business.
Mindset plays such an important role in creating and running a successful business. It can be the contributing factor that holds you back from starting your business or taking it to the next level. I believe you should be open to mindset growth during your entrepreneurial journey because it will help you during times of uncertainty and will provide helpful tools to keep growing your business when you feel like you are stuck. If you are struggling in business, mindset may be the missing link to move you closer to success.
I have gone through lots of personal development throughout my life and I believe it has played a huge role with defining who I am today. Working on my mindset has given me the abilities to:
- Embrace change
- Help me push aside my limiting beliefs
- Deal with feelings of overwhelm
- Overcoming my fears
- Determine best case vs. worst case scenarios
- Embrace risks
Whether you have just tapped into learning about mindset or you have been working towards having an abundant mindset for a while now, there is always room for growth mindset in business. Eric Balance and I have come up with the Resilience Road Map to help you figure out where you are in your journey and what you can do to get to the next level. Here are three steps to help you being open to opportunities to get you to that next level.
I remember when I first entered the business world and I came across an entrepreneur who tried to take advantage of my services to use for his own profits. I call him Mr. Shark. Although, I learned a hard lesson with trusting and collaborating with people, which made me miss out on other opportunities, I have come to thank him for the lessons I learned because of the pain he put me through. With every mistake I make, I always learn a valuable lesson, and this is why you should be okay with making mistakes because this is how you will grow. You should actually embrace mistakes!! On the other hand, you need to embrace your wins as well!! Many of us get stuck on the things we do wrong and we put ourselves down, when we should really be celebrating the things we are good at and all the small victories!
